Gary Silverman, Founder, CFP®

Gary's passion is to help people make the best use of their financial resources. Mostly he provides ongoing investment management, designing and implementing a balanced investment program. He also does retirement planning and can provide investment advice on an hourly basis. As a fee-only advisor, Gary avoids the conflicts of interest that arise with advisors who are compensated through the products they recommend.  An MBA from the University of Dallas and a BS in Psychology from Miami Christian College provided Gary the educational and professional background necessary to excel in personal and family financial counseling. In addition, he holds the Certified Financial Planner license.  Gary maintains his expertise by spending hundreds of hours in continuing education each year.
 
Gary's financial articles can be read weekly in the Sunday edition of the Wichita Falls Times Record News and their monthly Business-to-Business publication. Gary taught business and management courses at Midwestern State University, Wayland Baptist University, and Vernon College; and he hosted a financial television show for many years. In addition, he speaks regularly to church and civic groups and puts on periodic workshops and seminars. His insights are the subject of numerous television interviews and newspaper articles. He publishes a bi-weekly e-Newsletter and has contributed to the Journal of Financial Planning.
 
As an active member of his community, Gary volunteers and supports various charities. Currently, he serves on the Interfaith Ministries Finance Committee and is on the advisory board of the Museum of North Texas History.

Gary’s background is more than just finance. He was a submarine sailor in the Navy, a training supervisor for Texas Utilities, and has consulted with several Fortune 500 companies in the area of personnel productivity.

Michelle Jarrett-Kuehner

Investment Advisor Representative; Director, Operations; Chief Compliance Officer; Human Resource Manager

Michelle is responsible for most of our client-contact activities and a considerable amount of our back office work. She helps Gary with marketing and community outreach, acts as human resource manager, and handles quite a bit of our communications. In a nutshell, she does it all.

As the Chief Compliance Officer, she ensures that management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior within the organization meets the company’s Code of Ethics. She is a member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP) and the DFW Compliance Professionals.

Being part of the community is important to Michelle as well. She is a Sustainer for the Junior League of Wichita Falls where she has held various leadership positions. She has also served on the boards for Wichita Falls Human Resource Management Association and Associated Business Partners.

A lifetime resident of Wichita Falls, Michelle came to us with 12 years experience in banking.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Education with a Business specialization from Wayland Baptist University, where she graduated with highest honors. She also holds the Series 65 license which allows her to provide investment advice. In addition, Michelle has earned the designations of Certified Credit Counselor and Certified Financial Health Counselor. This allows her to better assist the firm’s clients in learning the importance of budgeting, savings, retirement funding, in addition to helping them understand mortgage lending and student loans.

Michelle spends hundreds of hours a year studying regulations and rules to maintain her level of expertise in areas of compliance, human resources, and other various regulations in the financial industry.

 

 

DaNella Organ

Director, Research and Planning

DaNella works behind the scenes on special projects, reports, and compliance support.

DaNella earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Midwestern State University while working for Personal Money Planning as a college student 10 years ago.  She has since moved to the Metroplex with her husband. In the meantime, DaNella has worked in real estate, mortgage banking, and management and received a Master of Arts in Management from Dallas Baptist University.  She currently resides in Trophy Club with her husband and two boys.

Tina's main focus at Personal Money Planning is marketing and community outreach. She looks forward to meeting you at a future seminar! 
 
Tina graduated with honors from Arizona State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Communication and a minor in Business. After graduation, she gained experience in customer service, sales/marketing, and operations management. Since moving to Wichita Falls in 2007, Tina has rediscovered her passion for writing, and she helps other writers on her website, http://www.excuseeditor.com. Her essays have been published in five different Chicken Soup for the Soul titles, as well as an anthology called "My First Year in the Classroom".

Karen White, Administrative Assistant to the Director

Karen is the cheerful voice that greets you on the phone and the first person you meet when you visit us at the office.  She comes to us with many years of customer service related experience. A longtime resident of Burkburnett, Karen spends her time away from the office with her husband of over 30 years. She and her husband enjoy church activities, and spending as much time as possible with their two grandsons, who live in the Metroplex area.
